At Parkland, Pathology is an integral part of providing optimal care and treatment to a diverse patient population. The Pathology department is fast-paced, serving the third-busiest Emergency department in the country and the largest civilian burn unit in the South. Our Pathology team acquires the samples that are tested. We also have more than 16,000 births per year here at Parkland—more than any other single site in the U.S. pathology also supports our many on-site outpatient specialty clinics and off-site primary care clinics.
Affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, serving as the primary clinical site for medical technology students.
Full-service laboratory with the traditional disciplines as well as image Analysis, Special Coagulation/Bone Marrow, and Apheresis services.
Our lab is CLIA certified along with being CAP and COLA accredited, with Transfusion Services accredited by the AABB and registered with the FDA
Varying shifts available, both full-time and part-time.
